Jason Aldean Slams Donald Trump Felony Verdict: ‘We Are In Trouble’
Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany Aldean wasted no time responding to former president Donald Trump's conviction on 34 felony charges.
The couple — who are currently vacationing in Switzerland — hit social media to show their personal support for Trump. Jason Aldean also expressed his concerns for America.
"We love you @realdonaldtrump," Brittany Aldean writes.
- Trump was found guilty of all 34 counts of falsifying business records in order to influence the 2016 presidential election.
- He'll be sentenced on July 10. Per NPR, potential sentences include probation, house arrest or up to four years in prison.
- The Aldeans have long support Trump. In early 2022 Jason Aldean played golf with the former president in Florida.

Brittany Aldean took to social media first, labeling the trial a "smear campaign." This is a theory popular among supporters of the former president, but so far, there's been no evidence that President Joe Biden or anyone from the White House played a role in the trial.
She also posted a pair of Instagram Story updates that followed her observations from the family trip to Switzerland.
"A weak competitor always takes out their enemy when they know they will lose," she writes. "America is not the country it once was."
Jason Aldean posted a picture of an upside American flag and reflected on the "scary times in our country right now."
"When a former POTUS gets treated like this by our justice system, what does it mean for the rest of us," he asks. "If there was ever a time to speak up, it's now."
"Make no mistake ... we are in trouble."
Followers of both Aldean social media accounts were overwhelmingly supportive of their stance. The upside-down American flag — originally a signal of distress — has started to symbolize an act of rebellion. It's been used by supporters of both political parties over the last two years.
Trump's legal team is expected to appeal the jury's decision. The conviction will not prevent him from running for president in November.
