Reba McEntire Is ‘Devastated’ Over Taylor Swift + Travis Kelce Dating Rumors

Reba McEntire isn't too happy about the rumored romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. In fact, she's "devastated."

“Oh, my gosh, I am so mad at her because I had a crush on him. Now I can’t have a crush anymore because he’s dating her," McEntire reveals to Today.

She's joking, of course.

While the country veteran does have a crush on the NFL tight end, she's not actually upset at the news of this potential relationship. She's enjoying playing the role of a heartbroken woman, though.

“I was so devastated,” she confesses in jest.

McEntire has been in her own relationship with actor Rex Linn for three years. The actor knows about her crush, but he isn't bothered by it one bit. He actually teases McEntire about it.

“When he and Taylor started dating, Rex said, ‘Your boyfriend’s got another girlfriend.’ I said, ‘Rub it in,'" she recounts.

The "Seven Minutes in Heaven" singer revealed that she and Linn were dating in October of 2020 and had been since earlier in the year. The pair first met in 1991 on the set of Kenny Rogers' film The Gambler Returns and loosely kept in touch over the years.

The two spent every day chatting on Zoom or FaceTime during the pandemic, strengthening their bond. It wasn't long before McEntire realized he was the love of her life.

"We're pretty much inseparable," she said at the time.

Fans can catch McEntire every week on this season of The Voice. It's the country singer's first time serving as a coach after she replaced Blake Shelton — who retired after 23 seasons.
