Evanston’s Ryker Lind is the 2024-25 WyoPreps Athlete of the Year for Boys Golf [VIDEO]
The first WyoPreps Athlete of the Year Award, presented by Premier Bone and Joint Centers of Wyoming, goes to Evanston senior Ryker Lind for boys’ golf. Lind was the Class 4A state champion during the fall 2024 season and was chosen by the coaches as the Wyoming Golfer of the Year.
The senior won the six golf invitationals he played this year. His scoring average was 68.6, which set an Evanston High School record. He shot par or better in every round this season. At the state championships in Afton, Lind carded a 66 in the first round and 68 in the final round. He won by seven shots. Lind capped his prep career with four all-state awards.
In the video above, WyoPreps’ David Settle caught up with Lind recently to get his reaction to winning our second WyoPreps Athlete of the Year Award for Boys’ Golf. We started with his reaction to the news and had Ryker reflect on his senior season at EHS, the state championship he won, and more.
Lind signed his National Letter of Intent with the University of Wyoming last month to play golf for the Cowboys. Ryker also plays basketball for Evanston High School.
Congratulations to Ryker Lind!
