After the opening weekend of the 2025 American Legion Baseball season saw seven teams play their first game of the year, Week 2 has more debuts. Eight teams will get their first action. Cheyenne will host Laramie and Rock Springs for some round-robin games. Cody gets on the diamond for its initial time against Buffalo. Douglas will host Miles City, MT, for a twin bill. Riverton will open its year at Powell on Sunday. That same day is when Wheatland begins its season at home. Gillette, Sheridan, and Powell are playing for the second straight week.

SATURDAY, APRIL 12:

Final Score: Cody Cubs 14 Buffalo Bulls 0 - the Cubs exploded for 11 runs in the 3rd inning. Undeberg had 3 hits & 2 RBIs, Phillips homered, and Cody took advantage of 5 walks & 4 errors.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 18 Buffalo Bulls 1 - Cubs complete the sweep thanks to 14 runs in the first two innings. Hartley had 3 hits & 3 RBIs for Cody.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 Expos 15 Sheridan Jets 7 - Phillips & Martinson had 1 hit & 2 RBIs each for the Jets in the loss.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 Expos 11 Sheridan Jets 4 - Jets had a 4-0 lead but the Expos rallied.

Final Score: Powell Pioneers 16 Billings Razorbacks 2 - Pioneers win their 1st game thanks to a 10-run 4th inning. Fauskee had 4 hits & 3 RBIs. Solberg added 3 hits & drove in 4 runs.

Final Score: Powell Pioneers 16 Billings Razorbacks 1 - Pioneers got the sweep as they scored 3 or more runs in all four at-bats. Gates led the offense with 3 hits & 5 RBIs.

Final Score: Gillette Rustlers 11 Rapid City Post 320 Shooters 8 - Rustlers led 5-1 and held off the comeback attempt. Smith & Shaffer had 2 hits & 2 RBIs each.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 320 Shooters 12 Gillette Rustlers 10 - a 4-run 5th by the Shooters was the difference. Smith had 3 hits & 3 RBIs for the Rustlers.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 9 Rapid City Post 320 Stars 4 - Riders led 3-0 and added 4 in the 4th and 2 more in the 5th. Loftus led the offense with 4 hits & 2 RBIs. Partlow allowed 1 hit over 5 inns for the win.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 320 Stars 12 Gillette Riders 7 - the Stars scored 11 runs in the 2nd & 3rd innings. Partlow had 2 hits & 2 RBIs in the loss.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 Hardhats 6 Sheridan Troopers 4 - Post 22 scored 5 in the 5th to take the lead and added 1 in the 6th for insurance.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 Hardhats 6 Sheridan Troopers 3 - Sheridan took a 3-1 lead in the 5th, but Post 22 scored the last 5 runs of the game. Greer had 1 hit & 2 RBIs for the Troopers.

Cheyenne Series (at Powers Field)

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 10 Laramie Rangers AA 0 - Pearson tossed a 2-hit shutout with 10 Ks for the Sixers. He added 2 hits & 3 RBIs at the plate. Cheyenne scored in all 6 innings played.

Final Score: Laramie Rangers AA 4 Cheyenne Hawks 2 - Rangers scored 2 in the 7th to get the win. The go-ahead run scored on a passed ball. Schriner, Aragon, & Harris with 1 hit & 1 RBI each.

Final Score: Cheyenne Hawks 10 Rock Springs Stallions 9 - Cheyenne led 9-3, RS tied it with 6 runs in the 7th inning, but the Hawks won it on a walk-off sacrifice fly by Ruskanen.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 8 Rock Springs Stallions 7 - the Sixers rallied from a 6-0 deficit and scored 5 in the 7th to win it. An error led to 2 runs and the Cheyenne win. Pearson & Nuland had 2 hits & 1 RBI each.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 Expos 13 Sheridan Jets 3 - the Expos broke it open with 8 runs in the 2nd.

Final Score: Wheatland Lobos 9 Cheyenne Prep 4 - the Lobos fought back from an early 3-0 deficit and took the lead with 4 runs in the 3rd. Lind & Steinsiek had 2 hits & 2 RBIs each for Wheatland.

Final Score: Wheatland Lobos 9 Cheyenne Prep 2 - Lobos scored in each inning. Steinsiek had 3 hits (2B) & 1 RBI.

Final Score: Miles City Mavericks 11 Douglas Cats 3 - MC scored 4 runs over the 1st three innings and pulled away.

Final Score: Miles City Mavericks 13 Douglas Cats 3 - MC scored 11 straight runs in the win.

Final Score: Riverton Raiders 11 Powell Pioneers 8 - the Raiders used a 5-run 7th to rally for the victory. Cox had 2 hits (HR) & 3 RBIs, while Anderson & Bowstring added 3 hits each.

Final Score: Powell Pioneers 10 Riverton Raiders 0 - the Pioneers got the split thanks to Diaz's 3 hits & 4 RBIs. They scored 4 runs in the 1st and 5 runs in the 3rd.

Final Score: Cheyenne Hawks 16 Rock Springs Stallions 6 - a 7-run 1st inning followed by a 5-run 3rd gave the Hawks an early 12-1 lead. Gamo had 2 hits & 3 RBIs for Cheyenne.

Final Score: Rock Springs Stallions 5 Laramie Rangers AA 3 - the Stallions built an early 3-0 lead and held off Laramie. Peterson & Valerio had 2 hits & 1 RBI each.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 10 Laramie Rangers AA 1 - the Sixers used a 5-run 2nd to get the win. Crecilius had 3 hits & 2 RBIs to pace the offense. George & Tafoya combined on a no-hitter and allowed 1 unearned run with 12 Ks and 2 walks.
