Big Horn has been a powerhouse in 2A football for the last couple of seasons with a state title in 2022 and finishing 2nd in 2023. The Rams were a combined 19-3 over the course of those two seasons. Currently, Big Horn is 6-0 as they handled Glenrock on the road 54-14 on Friday night.

Big Horn scored early and often in this game as Cruz Hernandez ran 60 yards for a touchdown to give the Rams a 7-0 lead. Daniel Walker added a defensive touchdown on a 7-yard return of a Glenrock fumble to double the lead to 14. Hernandez found the end zone again in the 1st quarter from 9 yards out so that put the Rams up by 20. Still, in the first quarter, Glenrock fumbled again and it was recovered for a touchdown by Owen Petty as Big Horn led big at 27-0.

In the 2nd quarter, Walker ran it in from 9 yards away for his 2nd TD of the game and that was followed by a Bridger Doke 6-yard scoring run, and the lead for Big Horn at this point was 40-0. Ash Doke also scored for Big Horn in the 3rd quarter and Glenrock finally got on the board with a 71 run to the end zone. By that time it was 47-7 with Big Horn with both teams scoring one more time for the duration of the game.

The Rams will host their rival Tongue River on Friday while the Herders will be looking for their first win of the year against 7 losses with a trip to Upton-Sundance. Be sure and take a look at a few frames from the BH-Glenrock contest and they can be discovered in our gallery below. Enjoy!
