In 1A 6-Man football, defending champion Burlington ended the regular season with a resounding 81-15 victory over Midwest on Friday to get to 6-1 overall. After a big season-opening loss to Little Snake River, the Huskies have rolled over their opponents. Burlington jumped out to a 30-7 first-half lead against Midwest and never looked back.

The Huskies have the #2 ranked defense in 6-Man led by the rugged Joe Bassett. He's a bruising player on both sides of the line of scrimmage and is certainly a difference-maker. Jordan Broederlow has been their leading passer and rusher so the offense has been functional.

Burlington is the #1 seed from the North and will host Farson-Eden in the opening round of the playoffs on Friday at 1 PM. Midwest finished the season at 4-4 and lost out to the last playoff spot from the North as Meeteetse won the head-to-head tiebreaker. Quincy Paris had quite a year for the Oilers. Entering the Burlington game, he had over 1000 yards rushing, over 500 yards passing, and over 300 yards receiving.
