Cash Tillard of Douglas had a solid football career and will take his skills to the next level at Black Hills State in Spearfish, South Dakota. The 5-10, 180-pound linebacker made 65 tackles this past season for the Bearcats, and 40 of those were solo. He rang up a dozen tackles vs. Cody was named All-State in 3A. Tillard played wide receiver on offense and had 34 catches for 433 yards with 3 touchdowns. He was also a member of the South team in this year's Shrine Bowl All-Star football game.

In his junior year, Tillard was in on 45 tackles from the linebacker spot with 4 interceptions, 2 fumble recoveries, and 2 sacks. He had a season high 10 tackles vs. Jackson and was an All-Conference selection on defense. On the offensive side, Tillard caught 27 balls for 331 yards and 3 TDs.

He also played for the Douglas basketball team, appearing in 29 games. Black Hills State is a Division II school that plays in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
