Jonah Rigg was a member of a strong Cheyenne Central distance running team and will move on to the next level, competing at Black Hills State in Spearfish, South Dakota. In his senior year at the State Outdoor Track Meet in Casper, Rigg ran the anchor leg on Central's 4A state championship 4x800 relay team, finishing in 8.13.48.  He placed 7th in the 4A 1600 and 11th in the 4A 3200 at the State Meet in Casper.

Rigg had a solid 4A State Indoor Meet performance as the Tribe 4x800 meter relay won the state championship in 8.15.86 and individually, he took 7th in the 1600 meters.

In his junior season on the outdoor track circuit, his 4x800 meter relay team was 3rd at the State Outdoor Meet with an 11th place finish in the 4A 800 and 13th in the 3200.

Over in cross country, Rigg was 17th at the State Meet in Cheyenne in 17.16.90 and 28th in his junior season in 17.38.18.

Black Hills State is a Division II institution that competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
