Cheyenne East’s Reign Continues at the Top of the WyoPreps Softball Rankings
There were no changes among the top five for the third straight WyoPreps Coaches and Media Softball Poll.
The minor change was the separation in the voting compared to last week.
Cheyenne East held the No. 1 spot for the third consecutive ranking. The Thunderbirds earned 18 of the 20 first-place votes.
Thunder Basin received a pair of first-place votes and stayed in second.
Campbell County, Laramie, and Cheyenne Central rounded out the top five. The point totals in the poll were not as close as a week ago.
Three other teams picked up votes.
East and Central head to Gillette to play Thunder Basin and Campbell County for some big games this weekend.
