The Cody Broncs have appeared in the 3A State Championship football game 4 years in a row, winning twice and losing twice. They've had that magic formula for a few years now and will be considered one of the favorites for the state title this year.

The Broncs handed it to Douglas on Friday 49-0 with a balanced offensive attack and a solid defense. Those are the ingredients for championships and it appears that Cody will be on another collision course with Star Valley for the 3A Crown.

Chase Hatch plays receiver and defensive back for Cody and he is getting interest from college teams like Wyoming and Boise State. UW Head Coach Jay Sawvell was in attendance on Friday to watch Hatch and he also had a good look at quarterback Maddax Ball. The 6-5 senior has loads of potential with a good arm and is strong enough to make wildcat-type running plays.

We talked to both of those guys after the game and they were pleased with the outcome.
