Meeteetse Welcomes Team USA for CanAm Bowl XXVIII
CanAm Bowl XXVIII is on July 4, 2026, and returns to Meeteetse, Wyoming for the second time in three years. Team USA plays Team Canada in a 6-man all-star football game. The game starts at 1 p.m. Team USA features top players from Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, and Texas. Canada’s roster is made up of players from the provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Team USA has won 13 of the last 14 games in the series. The head coach is Farson’s Scott Reed. His assistant coaches are Thomas Tritz from Coolidge, TX, Sam Weeldreyer of Little Snake River, and Meeteetse’s Zeb Hagen. The roster for Team USA has four players from Wyoming, plus five from Texas, four from Colorado and Montana, and three from Nebraska. Team USA won again in 2025
In CanAm Bowl XXVII, Team USA beat Canada, 70-52, in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, Canada. The USA leads the all-time series, 22-5. The game features graduated seniors from both countries. The first CanAm Bowl was played in 1997.
If you are interested, the game starts at 1 p.m. Adult tickets cost $10. Students (ages 7-17) are $5. Anyone age 6 and under is free. Concessions will be available, as the Meeteetse FFA will be selling sandwiches, hamburgers, and hot dogs.
