In one of the tighter 4A title games in recent years, the Sheridan Broncs completed their quest for a fifth consecutive football state championship last month in Laramie. On November 15, the Broncs topped longtime rival Campbell County in a big battle, 17-10. After the game was tied, at 7-7, Sheridan got a Breck Reed TD run in the second quarter and took the lead for good. They were up 14-7 at halftime. The Camels kicked a field goal in the third quarter that trimmed it to 14-10. The Broncs got their own field goal in the fourth and held off Campbell County.  Not only was that five in a row, but Sheridan’s ninth 4A football crown in the last 11 seasons, and 32nd in school history.
