A No. 1 versus No. 2 showdown for a possible top seed in the playoffs is on the line in our fan-voted WyoPreps Game of the Week for big schools. The top-ranked Sheridan Broncs take on the No. 2 Campbell County Camels at Homer Scott Field in Sheridan. Both teams are 7-0 so far this season. This rivalry returns to center stage for the first time since Gilette split into two high schools, which takes us back to 2016.

Sheridan head coach Jeff Mowry and Campbell County head coach Orah Garst previewed the game with WyoPreps this week. Coach Mowry emphasized the continued improvement of his team, how he feels it’s good to have the Camels back adding to this rivalry, what he sees from Campbell County, and a few keys. Garst discussed coming off a win over the cross-town rival Thunder Basin, the Camels’ defense, the renewed rivalry against Sheridan, what he sees from the Broncs, and a few points of emphasis.
