Streaks Soar, Buffalos Break Through: Wyoming High School Football Season Finalized

The 2025 Wyoming High School football season finished last Saturday. Five teams won state championships at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie. The only new champion was in Class 2A, as the Mountain View Buffalos won their first title since 2019. Star Valley won Class 3A for the fourth straight year and won its 33rd consecutive game. Little Snake River and Pine Bluffs repeated as the champions in Class 1A 6-man and 9-man, respectively. Both the Rattlers and Hornets registered blowout victories. Finally, in 4A, Sheridan won its fifth straight big-school title, and the Broncs extended their winning streak to 55 in a row. The standings include all games played during the 2025 season.

All five state champions concluded the year with an undefeated record. One team lost one game, and six more lost two games in the 2025 season. Five schools went winless this year.
