Pinedale basketball star Josh Gosar will continue his career on the hardwood as he has committed to Western Wyoming College in Rock Springs. Gosar was a two-time All-State selection in 3A and led that classification in scoring this past season, averaging 16.8 points per game. The 6-2 point guard also averaged 7 rebounds per game as the Wranglers qualified for the State Tournament. Gosar had a season-high 33 points vs. Mountain View, 30 vs. Lander and 29 against Kemmerer.

In his junior season. he averaged 16.2 points per game which was 3rd in 3A along with 5 boards per contest. He rang up 39 points vs. Mountain View in the 2022-23 season as well as a 27-point game vs. the Buffs.

Gosar surpassed the 1000-point mark in his career in his senior season and also played for the South team in the Wyoming Coaches Association All-Star game in Casper last month
