The Terry Berg Golf Invite was held on Thursday and Friday in Lander and on the girl's side, Madison Brown of Evanston was the individual medalist with rounds of 81 and 86. Brown took 12th place at last year's 3A State Tournament and outdistanced Ceci Bruno of Jackson who shot 96 and 84. Riverton's Tylynn McDonald and Powell's Emery Hernandez tied for 3rd. McDonald carded rounds of 86 and 95 while Hernandez shot 92 and 89.

Evanston placed first in the girl's team standings and beat Jackson by just 2 strokes with Lander 3rd, Cody 4th, and Thermopolis 5th.

On the boy's side of the ledger, Ryker Lind of Evanston proved once again that he is one of the finest prep golfers in Wyoming. He was the State runner-up in 3A a year ago and won the Lander Tournament by 11 strokes. Lind shot 71 in the first round and a blistering 66 in the 2nd round. Riverton's Kyler Grahamn was 2nd with rounds of 71-77 and Hayden Overfield of Thermopolis was 3rd with a 76 and 74.

Riverton was on top of the leaderboard in the boys' team standings beating Evanston by 4 strokes. Lander was 3rd, Cody 4th, and Worland 5th. Check out some photos of the 2nd round in Lander in our gallery below. Enjoy!
