The Casper-Natrona football program has qualified for the 4A playoffs every year since 1991 and will be the #4 seed in this year's postseason tournament after a 34-8 home win over Cheyenne Central on Friday. The Mustangs are 6-3 on the year and Central finishes the season at 2-7. The Tribe will miss the playoffs for the 1sr time since 2016.

After a scoreless first quarter on Friday night, Natrona got on the scoreboard with a 2-yard touchdown pass from Kanai Olsen to Charlie True to give the Mustangs a 7-0 lead. NC got into a groove in the 3rd quarter with an Olsen to True TD connection, that covered 70 yards, a 43-yard run to the house by Tyler Palermo, and a 3-yard run for a score by Palmero.

Each team scored once in the 4th quarter as Olsen threw another TD pass, this time to Gage Brooks that went for 31 yards. Central found the end zone later in the 4th as Lane Clement tossed a 4-yard scoring pass to Tate Berry.

Natrona will host cross-town rival Kelly Walsh on Friday night. Be sure and take a look at some great photos of the NC-CC game, compliments of Shannon Dutcher and Libby Ngo. You can find them in our gallery below. Enjoy!
