Week 7 of the Wyoming High School season has both disciplines in action on the same weekend for the first time. Alpine skiers will have their second races of the year in the Cody Invitational at Red Lodge, Montana. Cross-country skiers had a venue change. Due to poor snow conditions, the Cody Invitational was moved to Jackson for the Trail Creek Nordic Invitational. All teams are slated for competition on Friday and Saturday.

WYOPREPS WEEK 7 SKIING SCHEDULE 2026

The Cody Invite takes downhill skiers just over the northern border of the state into Montana. Red Lodge Mountain is always a challenging venue. Both days of racing will feature slalom skiing. Both days will start at 10 a.m. on the Turnpike ski run. The schools competing this weekend are Casper Kelly Walsh, Casper Natrona County, Cody, Jackson, Laramie, and Pinedale. Over 130 skiers will race at various levels. The Cody girls and Jackson boys took first in the team standings last week in Laramie. Skiers from Cody, Jackson, and Natrona County won the individual races.

The race results will be posted after the competitions are complete.
