Wyoming Prep Downhill Skiing Set for Long-Awaited Season Opener
For the first time in 2026, Wyoming High School downhill skiers get a chance to compete this weekend. The start of the season was delayed by two weeks after the Kelly Walsh race was moved to early February. The Laramie High School Invitational will be at the Snowy Range Ski and Recreation Area on Friday and Saturday. Meanwhile, cross-country skiers have another week off after the schedule was adjusted earlier in the month.
