Star Valley’s Jayden Kunz Inks with Bethany College for Football

Star Valley has produced a significant number of football players who made their way to the college ranks. One of the latest additions to that list was Jayden Kunz, who will be headed to Bethany College in Kansas.

Kunz was an All-State linebacker in 3A this past season as the Braves ran the table and won the state championship. Kunz had 9 tackles in that 3A title game vs. Cody and had 44 tackles and a fumble recovery for the year. He also had 3 rushing touchdowns and caught a TD pass. Star Valley, by the way, had the #1 ranked defense in 3A and the #1 ranked rushing defense.

Kunz also saw playing time in Star Valley's run to a state title in 2023 with 17 tackles and a forced fumble, as well as a rushing touchdown. He also competed at the State Wrestling Tournament that year, competing at 170 pounds.

Bethany College is an NAIA institution located in Lindsborg and is a member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
