State Splashdown: Wyoming’s Best Hit the Pool for 2025 Girls Swimming and Diving Championships

The 2025 Wyoming High School Girls Swimming and Diving State Championships are this weekend at Laramie High School. The Laramie Aquatics Facility will host the championships over three days. The Class 4A Championships are on Thursday and Friday, followed by the Class 3A Championships on Friday and Saturday. Lander and Laramie are the defending champions. The Tigers dominated 3A last year, winning all but one event, and are heavy favorites to win again. The Plainsmen have won seven of the last eight titles in their division. Cheyenne Central is the early 4A favorite. Here is a brief look at the teams competing, defending champions, and the schedule.

Returning/Defending Event Champs = 200 medley relay: Green River; 200 freestyle: Maren Tattersall, Jackson; 200 IM: Tavia Arnell, Green River; 100 butterfly: Tavia Arnell, Green River; 100 freestyle: Amaya Olivieri, Jackson; 500 freestyle: Maren Tattersall, Jackson; 200 free relay: Green River; 100 backstroke: Amaya Olivieri, Jackson; 100 breaststroke: Brook Noble, Campbell County; 400 free relay: Laramie.

There will be a new champion in the 50-freestyle race and diving. Those 2024 champions graduated.
