High school girls’ swimming and diving is back. The Wyoming prep season starts this weekend. The defending state champions are Green River in Class 3A and Kelly Walsh in Class 4A. The opening weekend of the season eases teams into competition. The bigger day is Saturday when pentathlons give swimmers and divers a chance to qualify for the state swim meet in Cheyenne. Only three pools will be hosting events, and those are in Gillette, Lander, and Rawlins.
