Three competition dates are part of the Week 5 schedule for prep boys’ swimming and diving teams in Wyoming. The 2026 season continues with several duals on Tuesday and Friday. That includes 4A teams and one 3A school in the Southeast Duals in Cheyenne and Laramie on Friday. Saturday has three big invites in Laramie, Pinedale, and Worland.

WYOPREPS BOYS SWIMMING AND DIVING WEEK 5 SCHEDULE 2026

Big Piney hosts a pre-invite on Friday before Saturday’s big swim meet in Pinedale. Worland has a similar setup, as well. Lander is at home against Jackson and Rawlins, before those three teams head to the Warrior Invitational in Worland. The schedule for Week 5 of the prep boys’ swimming and diving season in the Cowboy State is below. The schedule is subject to change.

Tuesday, Jan. 13:

Douglas 66 Newcastle 49 – dual

The Bearcats won 7 events compared to 5 for the Dogies. Newcastle's Gabe Hoover was the only 2-event winner in the 50 & 500 Free.

EVANSTON TRI – Evanston, Lyman, Sublette County

Team Scores = Evanston 405, Lyman 364, Sublette County 189.

The Eagles won 8 of the 12 events in the swim meet. Lyman's Mason Aimone (IM & Back) and Branson Busskohl (50 Free & 100 Breaststroke) were the 2-event winners.

Friday, Jan. 16:

LANDER TRI – Jackson, Lander, Rawlins.

Scores = Lander 137 Rawlins 40; Jackson 75 Rawlins 74; Lander 134 Jackson 38.

Lander won 11 of the 12 events. Carter Plaisted won the 200 IM & 500 Free.

PINEDALE PRE-INVITE at Big Piney – Buffalo, Evanston, Kemmerer, Sublette County.

Team Scores = Evanston 366, Sublette County 278, Buffalo 267, Kemmerer 167.

Buffalo won 6 events, and Evanston won 4. Hyrum Bell of Evanston won the 200 & 50 Free races. Teammate Jacob Olson won the IM and Backstroke.

SOUTHEAST DUALS:

CAMPBELL COUNTY, DOUGLAS, SHERIDAN AT LARAMIE

Scores = Laramie 99 Sheridan 65; Douglas 85 Sheridan 80; Laramie 98 Douglas 72; Campbell County 80 Sheridan 76; Laramie 97 Campbell County 71; Douglas 87 Campbell County 75.

Laramie won 6 of the 12 results. Douglas won 4 events. No two-event winners.

GREEN RIVER, NATRONA COUNTY AT CHEYENNE EAST

Scores = Green River 123 Natrona County 59; East 109 Natrona County 60; Green River 110 East 73.

Green River won 6 of the 12 events. Sebastian Razo of East was the lone two-event winner, 200 Free & 100 Fly.

Cheyenne Central 112 Kelly Walsh 71

Central won 9 of the 12 events. The Indians' two-event winners were Ian Young in the 200 IM & 100 Breaststroke and Chris Hager in the 500 Free & 100 Back.

ROCK SPRINGS, THUNDER BASIN AT CHEYENNE SOUTH

No team scores were kept.

Thunder Basin won half the events. Bryson Moore of South won the 200 IM & 100 Back. Carson Shear of TB won the 50 Free & 100 Breaststroke. 

WORLAND PRE-INVITE – Cody, Newcastle, Powell, Riverton, Worland.

Team Scores = Riverton 540, Cody 409, Powell 341, Worland 202, Newcastle 121.

Riverton won 6 of the 12 events. Brody Koch of Riverton won the 50 Free & 100 Back. The only other two-event winner was Newcastle's Gabe Hoover, who won the 200 & 500 Free events. 

Saturday, Jan. 17:

PINEDALE INVITE at Pinedale – Buffalo, Evanston, Kemmerer, Lyman, Sublette County.

Team Scores = Buffalo 306, Evanston 275, Lyman 269, Sublette County 196, Kemmerer 143.

Lyman won 5 events, Buffalo won 4, and Evanston won 3. Everett Thomas of Buffalo won the 50 & 100 Free. Lyman's Evan Bentley won the IM & Fly. 

SOUTHEAST INVITE at Laramie – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Douglas, Green River, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.

Team Scores = Central 269, Laramie 224, Green River 154, Campbell County 133, Rock Springs 100, East 94, Thunder Basin 94, Kelly Walsh 84, Douglas 80, Natrona County 76, Sheridan 58, South 27.

Two-event winners were Koen Asper of RS in the 50 & 100 Free, Campbell County's Brady Hunt in the 200 Free & 100 Fly, and Campbell County's CJ Gallion won the IM and 500 Free.

WARRIOR INVITATIONAL in Worland – Cody, Jackson, Lander, Newcastle, Powell, Rawlins, Riverton, Worland.

Team Scores = Riverton 499.50, Cody 372, Powell 300, Rawlins 252.5, Worland 199, Jackson 191, Newcastle 95.

The Wolverines won 6 of the 12 events. Brody Koch of Riverton won the 100 fly and 100 breaststroke races.
