
Wyoming Well-Represented at Nike Outdoor Nationals Track Meet
Several Wyoming high school track and field athletes are competing at this weekend’s Nike Outdoor Nationals and USTAFU20 Championships in Eugene, OR. The competition began on Thursday and continues through Sunday. WyoPreps has identified student-athletes from 13 schools represented at this track meet.
Jackson Hole and Sheridan have the largest contingent in action this weekend. Jackson has Waylon Cosby in the high jump. They are also represented in the boys’ Sprint Medley Relay, the girls’ SMR, the girls’ 4x100-meter relay, the girls’ 4x400-meter relay, and a mixed 4x400 relay.
Sheridan has Olivia Hardesty in the 100 meters, Loralai Ketner in the 100 and 400 hurdle races, and Lilly Charest in the pole vault. On the boys’ side, Maddax Jarvis is in the 100 meters, Chance Morris is in the 200 meters, Rudy Green is in the 400 meters, Ryder Charest is in the 800 meters, and Garrett Otto races in the 110 hurdles. The Broncs also run in the SMR and 4x400 relays.
Other Wyoming competitors include Campbell County’s Raynor Ranum in the shot put. Cheyenne Central’s Kalyanna Flores races in the 200 and 400, Tegan Krause is in the 200 and 400 meters, Race Morrell is in the 1-mile race, and Archer Ellis runs in the 100 meters. Cheyenne South’s Trey Downham is competing in the 400-meter hurdles. Kyler Stinson from Cody races in the 200 and 400 meters. Jaden Meyer of Douglas is in the 100 and 400 hurdles for the girls. Evanston’s Ayden Hartzell is racing in the 200 and 400 meters. Landon Walker from Kelly Walsh competes in the long jump and triple jump, Bristol Craig is in the high jump, Allie Scribner competes in the long jump, and Peyton Hamrick is in the pole vault. Laramie’s Flynn Arnold is in the 400 and 800 meters, Lainey Berryhill races in the 400 meters, and Kate Lewis will compete in the discus, shot put, and hammer throw. Natrona County’s Miyah Robertson races in the 200 meters, and Gage Brooks is in the triple jump. Grace Miller of Thunder Basin is in the 100 and 200 meters, and Ashley Rogge from TBHS is in the girls' heptathlon. Worland’s Trajn Swalstad will be in the 1-mile race.
