Saratoga’s Josie Little Reaches Digs Milestone in Volleyball
Saratoga’s Josie Little is a member of the 1,000 digs club. The senior accomplished the feat on Oct. 18, 2024, in a home match against No. 3 Southeast. Little plays outside hitter for the Panthers, who are 11-12-3 during the 2024 season and went 3-7 in the 1A Southwest Quadrant.
On Monday, Little helped Saratoga qualify for the 1A West Regional Tournament after a four-set victory over Farson-Eden in Rock Springs.
Josie has 314 digs across 75 sets played this season. She averages 4.2 digs per set and has 123 total kills, 25 total blocks, and 13 service aces this season.
Little is a four-year letter-winner for the Panthers and was an all-conference selection as a junior last year. She has 1,119 digs in her prep career.
Josie also participates in track and field at Saratoga High School. She has helped the Panthers win two Class 1A state championships. Little has earned two all-state and three all-conference awards in track and field.
Congratulations, Josie, on passing 1,000 career digs.
If you have a student-athlete who has reached a milestone, please email the info to david@wyopreps.com. We honor passing 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, and beyond. It can be for digs, kills, and assists in volleyball, but we also highlight milestones in other sports.
