WyoPreps Coaches and Media Volleyball Poll on Sept. 9, 2026

A tie for the top spot in Class 3A and three new teams entering the rankings highlight the new WyoPreps Coaches and Media Volleyball revealed on Wednesday afternoon. Douglas’ Gold Bracket title in Gillette pushed the Bearcats into a share of No. 1 in 3A with Lovell. Dubois, Saratoga, and Cheyenne East debuted in the rankings for the first time in the 2026 season. Numerous teams in each class received votes for the second consecutive week.

THIRD WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL RANKINGS 2026

The top two, Hulett and Cokeville, remained at the top of 1A. Upton and Burlington switched places, and Dubois jumped in at No. 5.

In 2A, the top four were the same. Big Horn was a unanimous choice for first. Saratoga edged its way into the fifth spot.

The Bulldogs and Bearcats are tied for first in the voting for 3A with 156 points. There was another tie for third. Tongue River and Torrington got 93 points each from the ballots.

Finally, Kelly Walsh was a unanimous pick atop Class 4A. Evanston moved up to second, while Green River fell to third. Thunder Basin climbed to fourth, and the Thunderbirds moved into fifth.
