Green River, Tongue River Deliver Major Wins as Wyoming Prep Volleyball Enters Final Stretch

Wyoming High School volleyball teams are through Week 8 of the 2025 season. A lot of conference matches dominated last week's slate, which shifted a few of the standings around. In 4A, No. 3 Green River handed top-rated Kelly Walsh its first league loss. In 2A, No. 1 Big Horn suffered its first loss to a 2A team when rival and third-ranked Tongue River topped them last Thursday. There was one upset of a top-five team by an unranked foe. That was in 3A, when Lander toppled No. 5 Pinedale.

Two conference leads changed. Little Snake River took the lead in the 1A Southwest, and Green River joined Kelly Walsh at 4-1 in the 4A Northwest. Nine teams are still undefeated in league play, and the two points-based leaders stayed at the top.
