Wyoming High School Wrestling Scoreboard: Dec. 30, 2024-Jan. 4, 2025
There is plenty of action around the new year for high school wrestling. There are no in-state tournaments this week, but plenty of teams are heading to out-of-state competitions in Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Utah, and more. There are also a handful of duals throughout the week.

Upton finished 6th with 89 pts. Trey Schneider took 1st for the Bobcats and 138 lbs. They also had 3 2nd place wrestlers.

MC Filly Tournament in Hyrum, UT = Evanston, Star Valley
Evanston had 2 1st-place wrestlers, Shaelyn Larkin and Brynlee Asay, and took 4th place. Star Valley was 8th and Lillian Anderson took 1st at 155 lbs for the Braves.
Spearfish Invite in Spearfish, SD = Newcastle, Thunder Basin, Upton
Thunder Basin finished 8th, Newcastle was 9th, and Upton in 18th. Brylee Caster took 2nd at 145 lbs for Newcastle.
Tom LeProwse Tournament in Bozeman, MT = Cody, Lander, Powell, Sheridan
Sheridan finished the best out of the Wyoming teams in 9th. Becca Oetken finished 1st and Eva Anderson was 2nd in their respective weight classes for the Broncs. Powell was 14th, Lander finished 17th, and Cody took 27th.
Traeden McPherson Memorial in Montpelier, ID = Mountain View
Mountain View finished 3rd with 1st-place wrestler Braxlyn Jorgenson, 2nd-place wrestler Jessi Lamoreaux, and 2 other 3rd-place wrestlers.

Star Valley finished 5th and had 3 2nd-place wrestlers, Kimball Parry, Tel Parry, and Grant Thomson. Evanston ended in 17th with Tayson Moon as their highest-placing wrestling in 4th at 106 lbs.
Tom LeProwse Tournament in Bozeman, MT = Cody, Lander, Powell
Powell finished 15th and Cody was close behind in 16th. Both teams had a wrestler finish 2nd in their weight class, McKale Foley for the Panthers and Trey Smith for the Broncs. Lander was 29th.
Traeden McPherson Memorial in Montpelier, ID = Mountain View
Mountain View finished 9th behind Levi Jones's 1st place at 190 lbs.
