The 49th annual Wyoming-Montana Boys Basketball All-Star games wasn't a very pleasant experience for the Wyoming guys in 2025. One year after breaking a 22-game losing streak in the series, Wyoming had its hands full with Montana as the neighbors to the north posted victories on Friday in Gillette and Saturday in Billings.

In Friday's game, Team Wyoming had a rough first half with turnovers and missed free throws, and never recovered. They trailed by 10 after the 1st quarter of play and were down 17 at the halftime break. Tevin Wetzel of Helena led Montana with 21, and he is a signee with Carroll College. Wyoming got 15 from Laramie's Jaden Smith and 14 each from Neil Summers of Laramie and Lane Hladky of Campbell County as the home team dropped a 102-90 decision.

It wasn't much better for Wyoming in Billings on Saturday as they were outscored 34-9 to start things off and absorbed a 98-73 defeat. Tracen Jilot of Box Elder led Montana with 19 as the team had 4 players in double figures. Wyoming was paced again by Jaden Smith with 16, and Tanner Hagar of Natrona added a dozen. Wyoming trails in the series 69-29.

Be sure to take a look at a set of images from Friday's contest at the Pronghorn Center at Gillette College. Enjoy!
