Shine Bowl Football North Practice-Tuesday
Both of the Shrine Bowl All-Star football teams entered their 2nd day of practice in Casper as they prepare for Saturday afternoon's showdown at Natrona County High School. The North team has some playmakers, that's for sure, so they will give the South defense something to think about.
Campbell County receiver Adam Gibson has speed to burn and caught 42 passes for the Camels this past season for 1052 yards and 14 touchdowns. Gibson was a unanimous All-State selection in 4A at the receiver spot. He's made his mark in track and field with a 4th-place finish in the 55-meter at the State Indoor Championships, and his 4x200 relay team also placed 4th. Gibson also has competed in the prestigious Simplot Games in Idaho.
Trey Smith from Cody can make plays at the wide receiver position as he caught 42 balls for 697 yards and 6 touchdowns in the 2024 season, earning All-State status in 3A. He also saw time in the defensive secondary and is a two-time 3A State Wrestling champion, earning titles in 2023 and 2024 with a 2nd place finish in 2025 at 132 pounds. Football and wrestling seem to go hand in hand.
We had a chance to chat with those two players about the Shrine Bowl and beyond. Plus, we have a handful of photos from Tuesday afternoon's practice
