Sorry, Rockies, but it's looking like Denver isn't the best area for being a baseball city.

I know, I know. It's a hard pill to swallow. I mean, I love going to the Rockies games. My wife and I love getting some cheap seats, going and drinking 3 dollar beers before the first pitch(you have to drink a Coors at Coors Field), and enjoying Downtown Denver before heading back to our hotel.

The web publication, Wallethub, just did a brand new study on the best baseball cities in America, and while Denver was on the list, they were really low on the list. I mean, sure, we're up here in Wyoming, but that's the team we support, so because Denver is so bad, it makes us look bad as a fanbase. Or at least, that's the theory I'm working with.

Denver landed at 24 out of 30. There were cities on the list that didn't even have a pro team. South Bend, Indiana, Durham, NC, and Nashville, TN were all behind Denver and don't have an MLB team. They have some popular minor league teams, but not pros. So, that's a bit embarrassing to be close to those guys.

With the World Series kicking off this week, it's nice to know that the administration for the Rockies are totally going to make the moves to make the Rockies competitive again, right? They wouldn't just get rid of our best players(cough, cough, Arenado) and not replace them?

At least there are 3 dollar beers.

There's always next year.
