Cheyenne Fire Rescue Saves Two Cats In Structure Fire
Cheyenne Fire Rescue firefighters were called out to a structure fire on Oak Court in Cheyenne on Friday.
That's according to a post on the Cheyenne Fire Rescue Facebook page.
The post says that when Firefighters got there, they quickly determined it was a fire in the basement of the single-story home.
The Cause Of The Fire Remains Under Investigation
The post says "Engine 4 rapidly entered the home with a fire hose while additional crews established water supply, conducted searches and ventilation, and rapid intervention support. The fire was quickly extinguished, and primary searches were completed.
Two cats were located inside and successfully rescued by firefighters. AMR provided oxygen and rehabilitation before the cats were reunited with their family."
The American Red Cross is helping out the family due to fire damage to the home, and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
