Felony Warrant

Gross had a warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for accessory after the fact, a felony punishable by up to three years in prison, up to a $3,000 fine, or both.

The crime is alleged to have occurred on or about Dec. 30, 2025.

Gross was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center without issue.

Initial Court Appearance

The following morning, Feb. 18, Gross was seen in Circuit Court in front of Judge Antoinette Williams on the charge.

Williams appointed Gross a public defender and set his preliminary hearing for Friday, Feb. 27, at 9:45 a.m.

Williams then asked for the state's position regarding bond.

"The defendant has no history according to NCIC," the state said. "Take that in conjunction with the nature of the allegations, the state would recommend a $3,000 cash or surety."

Out on Bond

"Based on the nature of the offense, the court will set your bond at $2,000 cash or surety," Williams told Gross, who later posted bond.

Please remember that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
