8 Previous Convictions

Cordova reportedly had a warrant for five or more convictions of theft, alleging that on or about July 14, she stole less than $1,000 worth of merchandise from Murdoch's Home and Ranch Supply, and that she's previously been convicted of theft or similar offenses on at least eight other occasions, making the theft a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.

Cordova was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where she was booked on her warrant as well as a misdemeanor interference charge.

On Friday, Aug. 8, Cordova was seen in Laramie County Circuit Court in front of Judge Sean C. Chambers for failing to appear for an arraignment on a misdemeanor charge of permitting an unlicensed person to drive and the felony theft charge.

Chambers appointed Cordova a public defender and asked for the state's bond recommendation.

"Ms. Cordova has a lengthy criminal history," the state said. "The state believes that $10,000 cash would be appropriate."

Bond Set at $10K Cash

Chambers set bond at $10,000 cash and Cordova's arraignment and preliminary hearing were set for Friday, Aug. 15 at 9:45 a.m.

Please remember that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
