A 42-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after allegedly strangling his wife.

According to a booking sheet, Timthy Jay Erikson was arrested shortly before 11 o'clock Halloween night, after a Laramie County Sheriff's deputy was dispatched to a physical domestic.

The deputy says Erikson and his wife were physically fighting and Erikson admitted to strangling her.

Erikson was subsequently charged with strangulation and domestic battery.

He made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court Wednesday morning, during which his bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Nov. 8 at 3:30 p.m.
