This year will mark the 17th edition of the Cheyenne Neighborhood Block parties. In the words of the release:

Cheyenne Neighborhood Night is a long-standing local tradition that brings residents, police officers, and organizations together for an evening of conversation and connection. Block parties will be hosted throughout Cheyenne, each offering their own mix of food, games, music, and family-friendly activities. If there isn’t a party in your area or you would like to visit more than one, you are welcome to attend any location city-wide. We hope to see you there!

"This event is one of the highlights of our year," said Chief Mark Francisco. "It gives our officers the chance to have meaningful conversations with the people they serve, outside of emergency situations or enforcement. It's all about getting to know each other as neighbors.”

Old Cheyenne Buildings, New Purpose

Wyoming owner of TJoe's Restaurant and all-around entrepreneur Sherrie Lyle purchased some old buildings on the west side of downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming.

There is an opportunity to transform these once grand and now forgotten structures into a new business area.

Many new businesses are looking at this old side of Cheenne. Restaurants and stores are looking at the old structures and imagining what new things they can do with them.
