Multiple Law Enforcement agencies joined forces on Thursday morning in Cheyenne to arrest a 17-year-old suspect who was wanted in Alabama on several felony warrants.

That's according to a post on the Cheyenne Police Department Facebook page.

Suspect Wanted For Armed Robbery, Shooting Into Vehicle And Building

According to the post, the suspect was wanted for an "armed robbery involving stolen firearms and a separate assault in which multiple rounds were allegedly fired into a vehicle and a building."

The  U.S. Marshals Service-led  Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (Alabama Division) found out that the suspect might be in Cheyenne. After that,  the Wyoming Fugitive Task Force (WFTF) coordinated with local law enforcement partners to locate him.

The post says the WFTF, the Cheyenne Police/Laramie County Joint SWAT Team, and additional officers from the Cheyenne Police Department located the suspect in the 1000 block of East Pershing Boulevard, where he was taken into custody without incident.

The post goes on to cite the arrest as a good example of how federal, state and local agencies can work together to keep everyone safe.
