Cheyenne Police are trying to find out who may have fired gunshots in the West Gopp Court area early on Sunday morning,

According to police spokeswoman Alex Farkas, police were called out to the 1600 Block of  West Gopp Court around 1 a.m. on Sunday after several residents of the area reported hearing multiple shots. The residents also said they saw two males running from the area at the time the shots were fired.

Farkas says police officers canvassed the neighborhood and interviewed witnesses. police are working to follow-up on leads as the investigation continues

No injuries were reported.

Farkas says anyone with information, particularly surveillance video, should contact the Detective Bureau at (307) 637-6513. Additionally, information can be provided anonymously at (307) 638-8477 (TIPS) or at silentwitnesslaramiecounty.com.
