A 26-year-old Cheyenne woman is facing a felony charge after reportedly failing to return a U-Haul truck.

According to a booking sheet, police were called to Montegua Symphony Presbury's home in the 400 block of East 17th Street shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, after a U-Haul truck rented in her name was reported stolen.

Upon arrival, police observed the stolen U-Haul sitting in front of Presbury's home and made contact with her.

Police say Presbury had the keys to the U-Haul and her wallet and belongings were inside the truck.

Presbury reportedly told police that she had attempted to extend the rental agreement the previous day, which the reporting person advised had declined.

Presbury was subsequently arrested and charged with felony theft.

Her bond was set at $3,000 cash and her preliminary hearing was scheduled for next Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 3 p.m.
