The College National Finals Rodeo concluded on Saturday in Casper as National Championships were crowned at the Ford Center. Casper College has a national titleist as James Perrin won the Saddle Bronc event with 324.5 on 4 with an 84.5 in the short-go. Perrin hails from Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, and has been sharp in this event all season long. Eastan West of Casper College took 6th in the saddle bronc, and Malcolm Heathershaw was 7th.

In the Bareback, Cooper Filipek from Gillette College captured the national title with 325 on 4, edging out Kooper Heimburg of Missouri Valley College by a single point. Filipek had an 83.5 in the short go on Saturday, and Heimburg had an 83. Colton Farrow of the University of Wyoming finished 15th.

The Bullriding championship was earned by Trace Scarlavai of Mid-Plains College, and he didn't even need to have a qualified ride on Saturday to do it. He was way ahead in the aggregate and rode 3 of 4 bulls at the CNFR, and Gavin Knutson from Montana Western was 2nd, and he had a no-score on Saturday.

Over in the Tie-Down Roping, Tyler Calhoun from Southwest Texas prevailed with a 38.7 on 4. He set the pace in this event with a solid 8.3 in the first go-round and a 9.1 in the short go. Cory Bomhoff from LCCC in Cheyenne was 19th.

Cameron Haumea from Sul Ross University in Texas finished the CNFR with a 4.7 in the short-go of the Steer Wrestling and won the national championship by close to 5 seconds with a total time of 20.6. Jace Mayfield of Midwest, who competes for Central Wyoming College in Riverton, took 3rd.

The Team Roping national champions were Cason Rickey of Texas Tech and Cashton Weidenbener from Weatherford, Texas, at 26.2. The first time these two roped together was at the CNFR in 2025.

For the ladies, Tori Brewer from Tarleton State in Texas was the winner in the Goat Tying with 24.5 on 4, edging out Jacee Graff of Weatherford by just 1 second. Landry Haugen of the University of Wyoming was 8th, Josie Mousel of UW 11th, and Yoder native Haiden Thompson, competing for Gillette College, was 14th.

Kate Eiland from Pearl River in Mississippi, along with Rylee George from Texas A&M-Commerce, were the co-national champions in the Breakaway Roping with 10 flat on 4. Eiland had a 2 and 7 in the short-go while George came up with a 2 and 3. Haiden Thompson of Gillette College was 7th, and Jordyn McNamee of Cheyenne, who competes for UW, was 10th.

In the Barrel Racing event,  Acey Pinkston from Southwest Texas narrowly edged out Tycie Phalen from Dickinson State for the National Title in this event. Pinkston had a total time of 56.23 in 4 runs with a speedy 13.90 in the short-go on Saturday. Phalen turned a sensational time of 14 flat on Saturday, and her total time for the rodeo was 56.89

The women's All-Around winner was Haiden Thompson of Gillette College, with Brad Moreno of New Mexico State winning the men's All-Around, with Jace Mayfield of CWC 2nd.

Southwest Texas won the women's team championship with 445 points, and Gillette College took 3rd, with the University of Wyoming 8th. Tarleton State was the runaway winner in the men's team standings, with Casper College 4th, Gillette College 8th.
