An 18-year-old Coloradan is facing a handful of charges after he was reportedly caught driving the wrong way on the Warren Avenue viaduct in Cheyenne.

Deputy Spots Wrong-Way Driver

According to a Laramie County Sheriff's Office Facebook post, on Monday, May 5, a little after 1 a.m., Deputy Hauf witnessed Prestyn Dawayne Lesbock-Koehler driving southbound on the Warren Avenue viaduct, which is a northbound one-way road.

"Hauf was able to catch up with the vehicle and get it stopped in the 800 block of I-180," the post reads. "During the investigation, deputies observed signs the driver was under the influence of drugs and alcohol."

Search Leads to Stolen Gun, Alcohol, and Marijuana

During a search of Lesbock-Koehler's vehicle, a stolen gun, alcohol, and a misdemeanor amount of marijuana were reportedly found.

Lesbock-Koehler was subsequently arrested and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on four misdemeanor charges, including DUI - combination of a controlled substance and alcohol, possession of marijuana, minor in possession of alcohol, and wrong way per traffic control device, as well as a charge of felony theft.
