A 25-year-old Cheyenne woman is facing a burglary charge after she was reportedly caught shoplifting from a store she was trespassed from.

According to a booking sheet, police were called to the Walmart at 2032 Dell Range Blvd. at 3:34 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, in reference to a trespassed female shoplifting.

Police say Amber Rene Norman, who has a current criminal trespass warning banning her from Walmart property, was seen under ringing items.

Officers located Norman and placed her under arrest.

Norman was then reportedly placed in the WRAP and taken to the Laramie County Detention Center without further incident, where she was booked on a single count of burglary, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
