
Cheyenne Man Accused of Burglarizing Wellness Center
A 33-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after allegedly burglarizing a holistic wellness center in north central Cheyenne.
According to a booking sheet, police were called to Balanced Prairie Wellness Collective at 2820 Warren Ave. around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 25, regarding a wanted person.
Police Nab Suspected Burglar
Police say they located Mario A. Montano-Escarcega in the alley and based on an officer's initial case report, there was probable cause to believe he previously burglarized the wellness center.
Montano-Escarcega was arrested and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center.
He was subsequently charged with burglary, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.

Bond Set at $5K Cash
Montano-Escarcega made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Tuesday, April 29, during which his bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, at 9 a.m.
