$20K Bond Set for Cheyenne Man Charged With 6 Counts of Burglary
A 37-year-old Cheyenne man currently being held in the Laramie County Detention Center after allegedly violating the conditions of his probation and being busted for drugs is now facing six counts of burglary.

According to a booking sheet, a Cheyenne Police officer on Thursday, Oct. 10 at approximately 3 p.m. conducted investigations on multiple burglaries with Brandon Dean Starkey as the suspect.
Search Warrants Lead to 6 Burglary Charges
"During my investigation, I conducted multiple search warrants on his property and obtained evidence to link Starkey to six burglaries and one aggravated burglary," the officer said.
Starkey was subsequently charged with six counts of burglary, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
Bond Set at $20K Cash
Starkey appeared in Laramie County Circuit Court on the burglary charges on Tuesday, Oct. 15, during which his bond was set at $20,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 3 p.m.
Probation Violation and Drug Possession Cases
As for the alleged crimes that landed him in jail, Starkey denied violating the conditions of his probation and waived speedy disposition during his revocation hearing before Laramie County District Court Judge Robin S. Cooley on Oct. 11, who set his bond in the case at $2,500 cash.
He's scheduled to be arraigned on the drug possession charges on Monday, Oct. 28 at 1:30 p.m.
