A 22-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after allegedly stealing a vehicle.

According to a booking sheet, police were dispatched to Converse Avenue and Dell Range Boulevard at about 10:18 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6 for a stolen vehicle, and found Richard Conner Kwedor in possession of a stolen vehicle.

Kwedor reportedly ran from officers and was detained.

Kwedor was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center for jail clearance and then booked into the Laramie County Detention Center.

Kwedor Charged With Felony Theft, Interference

Kwedor was subsequently charged with felony theft, a crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both, and interference with a peace officer - no injury, a misdemeanor.

Police say Kwedor also had a misdemeanor warrant out of Converse County for failure to pay with an original charge of domestic battery.

Bond Set at $2K Cash

Kwedor made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Thursday, Oct. 10, during which his bond was set at $2,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Friday, Oct. 18 at 9 a.m.
