A 27-year-old Haworth, Oklahoma man is facing charges in Laramie County after allegedly assaulting a pregnant woman at a Cheyenne hotel.

Police Called to Domestic Violence Incident

According to a booking sheet, Chance Cameron Cox was arrested at the Super 8 by Wyndham at 1900 W. Lincolnway at 6:51 p.m. on Friday, April 25, after police were called to a domestic violence incident.

Cox was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked without incident.

Cox Hit With Assault Charges

Cox was subsequently charged with aggravated assault and battery - causes bodily injury to a woman whom he knows is pregnant, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

He was also charged with domestic assault, a misdemeanor.

Cox Released on $5K Cash Bond

Cox made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Tuesday, April 29, during which his bond was set at $5,000 cash, which was posted later that day, and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, at 9 a.m.
