Cheyenne Teens Accused of Stealing Keys, Jeep From Planet Fitness
Two 15-year-old Cheyenne boys are behind bars after allegedly stealing a gym-goer's keys and Jeep.
According to police spokeswoman Alex Farkas, it all started around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, when officers received a report that a vehicle was stolen from Planet Fitness in the Frontier Mall.

Keys Stolen From Locker Room
"Through the investigation, officers learned that two teenage suspects took the vehicle’s keys from a gym locker room, then used them to steal a white 2015 Jeep from the gym parking lot," Farkas said in a news release.
Farkas says later that morning, at 11 a.m., officers received a report that the Jeep was at the intersection of Powderhouse Road and Prairie Avenue, and it was located shortly after, parked near Bomgaars at the mall.
Teens Arrested
"One suspect was found inside of the Jeep and was taken into custody without incident," said Farkas. "He was booked into the Laramie County Juvenile (Services) Center for felony theft."
Farkas says the other teen was found inside the mall.
"When approached by an officer, he attempted to run away but was quickly apprehended," said Farkas. "He was found to have an outstanding Laramie County warrant for failure to comply and was booked on the warrant."
Farkas says additional charges are pending.
