Police Nab Cheyenne Transient Wanted for Robbery, Conspiracy
A 33-year-old Cheyenne transient is facing felony charges in connection with a robbery.
According to a booking sheet, police were dispatched to 1103 Windmill Rd. at 3:16 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20 after it was reported that a wanted person, identified as Tralia Rose Ann Evans, was at the home.
Police say they contacted the homeowner in the alleyway garage and told him why they were there and he stated that Evans was downstairs inside of the house.
The homeowner reportedly motioned for police to follow him, yelled at Evans, and told her to leave the house.
Police then contacted Evans in the stairwell to the basement and handcuffed her.
Police say Evans had a warrant out of Laramie County for robbery - inflicts bodily injury and conspiracy to commit robbery - inflicts bodily injury, both felonies punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Circuit Court Judge Antoinette Williams signed the warrant on Sept. 3, 2024.
Evans was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where she underwent the booking process without incident.
Bond Set at $3K Cash
Evans was seen in Circuit Court on Monday, Sept. 23, during which her bond was set at $3,000 cash and her preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 3 p.m.
Please remember that all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
