5 Cheyenne Residents Arrested After Search Warrant Leads to Drugs

Five Cheyenne residents were arrested Thursday afternoon following a search warrant in south Cheyenne.

According to arrest records, the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, with help from the Laramie County Sheriff's Office, conducted a search warrant at 55-year-old Wayne Edgar Rosson's and 53-year-old Ann Ranae Wallace's home at 711 E. Allison Rd.

During the search warrant, there were many items retrieved which were narcotics and paraphernalia material.

Authorities say Rosson admitted he had recently smoked marijuana and is currently on bond, and a review of his bond conditions showed he's not supposed to be in a home or around people under the influence of drugs or drug paraphernalia.

Rosson was subsequently booked into the Laramie County Detention Center for person using or under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and Wallace for endangering children with methamphetamine and fentanyl, both felonies.

Three other occupants in the home, 35-year-old Jazmen Marie Cruz, 37-year-old Desiree Dawn Reno, and 25-year-old Merena Deanna Schlosser, were also booked into the county jail.

Cruz was found to have an active warrant out of Laramie County for failing to appear on original charges of possession of a controlled substance in powder or crystalline form, possession of marijuana, and no proof of liability insurance.

The warrant was signed by Circuit Court Judge Antoinette Williams on Dec. 14, 2023.

Reno was booked for misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.

And Schlosser had a felony warrant out of Albany County.

Authorities say they have been at the home multiple times for drug usage.
