
Cheyenne Man Charged With Strangulation, Domestic Battery
A 47-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after allegedly strangling a household member.

According to a booking sheet, Charles Shilo Padilla was arrested at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, after a police detective conducting a warrant service contacted him.

The detective says Padilla had two active warrants out of Laramie County Circuit Court.
One was a felony warrant for strangulation of a household member and domestic battery from 2024, and the other was a misdemeanor warrant for domestic battery from 2020.
Padilla was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, where he was cleared for jail, and then booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on his warrants.
Bond Set at $5K Cash
Padilla was seen in Circuit Court on the charges on Thursday, Jan. 23.
Bond across both his cases was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing and arraignment were scheduled for Friday, Jan. 31 at 9:45 a.m.
